Our Company
A small residential builder located in Richmond, Virginia, Tuckahoe Creek Construction was founded in 1990 and specialized in Luxury Residential Construction until 2017 when we decided to cease operations as a contractor, and instead focus our efforts solely on construction process management for our clients. As a contractor, we built and renovated homes in the Richmond, VA area along the River Road and Cary Street corridors, as well as in the Cities/Counties of Goochland, Henrico, Chesterfield, Powhatan, Hanover, Nelson, White Stone, and Virginia Beach. We operated as a small, hands-on building company and prided ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship, our attention to detail, and our client focused processes and service. As an advisor, we embrace the same customer centric philosophy that made us so successful as a contractor. Our operating model remains one of transparency and fairness. Gray Stettinius is one of the co-founders of both Tuckahoe Creek Construction and Tuckahoe Creek Construction Solutions. Gray is a Class A Contractor and has over 27 years of experience in residential construction. Over the years, Gray has been involved in every aspect of residential construction. He has earned the designations of:

and is the only residential building professional in the Richmond and surrounding area who currently holds the Master Builder designation from The National Association of Homebuilders. He is Past President of the Home Building Association of Richmond, a past Director of The National Association of Homebuilders, and currently serves on both the Construction Committee and Board of Directors of Richmond Metropolitan Habitat For Humanity, as well as the Building Committee for St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He is also a regular volunteer in Richmond's Rebuilding Together effort, whose mission it is to rehabilitate homes and revitalize communities.
Laurie Stettinius is married to Gray and is both an officer of Tuckahoe Creek Construction as well as co-founder of Tuckahoe Creek Construction Solutions. She is responsible for the majority of the back office functions of the company, overseeing the bookkeeping and marketing functions, and supporting client service and communication.
